The Police Control room was staffed by officers from Guernsey and Dorset Police, and was used to control Police resources and maintain a full event log. The system was also used during the event to brief POLSA searchers.

Main control of the Atlas OPS software utilised large Touch Screen Plasma display monitors. These were also linked into the CCTV system that was deployed around the main event area. This allowed commanders in the control room to look at both maps and live images.

Following the Queens departure, the system continued to manage other events which included a cavalcade of WWII vehicles, military bands and war veterans.
